CS Thomas Team

Scott Thomas

Founder & Partner

Scott’s greatest satisfaction from the success of CS Thomas comes from being able to share with other people his devotion to building. Through rewarding relationships with clients and also within the team, CS Thomas has become part of people’s lives. Scott helps clients navigate the journey of making their vision of home a reality. The results are lasting, and this means a lot to Scott.

Craig Thomas

Founder & Partner

Often Craig is the first point of contact between CS Thomas and the client. He maps the process of building, and then he listens. Understanding clearly how people intend to use their homes involves learning what’s important to them in an even larger sense, because home is the setting for their lives. Craig’s own love of family, children and the outdoors helps advance this understanding.

Matt Thomas

Matt’s experience in securing the consistency demanded by huge commercial building projects became an important ingredient when he joined his brothers to build custom, private homes in CS Thomas. As a result we have an unusually strong grasp of materials and timing. The resulting quality of outcome and reliability of process helps increase client’s comfort during construction, as well as their satisfaction with the conclusion.

Leroy Mervin

Construction Superintendent

The site is the focus for Leroy, and although he keeps moving all day long his eyes are often the first and last to explore and inspect it. What those eyes bring to the site is a rare combination of business sense, construction skill and relentless work ethic, starting deep inside and stemming from Leroy’s degree in business administration and his decades as a carpenter.

Brad Riley

Construction Superintendent

From before groundbreaking until after turning over the keys, Brad remains the client’s own representative in the process of creating their home. Like every team member, Brad assembled an impressive body of experience before finding – and being found by – CS Thomas. His own life demonstrates the value Brad places on family, and that helps him understand even more deeply what our clients want from home.

Darin Nelsen

Construction Administrator

Though a local resident for 25 years, Darin is a musician from New Orleans. This may account for the harmony he brings to building with CS Thomas. Information and documentation get where they need to be, because of Darin’s precision in detail and uncanny instinct for where things fit. His appetite for technology means “IT” at CS Thomas doesn’t have to wait for outside solutions.

Scott Taylor

Construction Superintendent

Structure is a particular strength of Scott’s. For a quarter century before joining CS Thomas, he ran his own framing company, and this experience enables him to interpret the details he sees during construction, the way an expert guide can read a trail. The teamwork Scott found with CS Thomas is his favorite part; how everyone gets along and building trust as well as homes.

Virginia Jarosz

Executive Administrator

Brought up in a family that might start or end an outing with a visit to a home site, Virginia has construction in her veins and she’s never been away from it for long. “Get it right the first time,” was among her dad’s most memorable instructions. As our expert in documentation, Virginia sees that estimates and budgets are grounded in real data and experience.

Gina Jones

Selections Coordinator

Gina’s arrival was an example of stars coming into alignment. Four years after talking initially with Scott and Craig the time was right. Gina guides our clients in selecting the details that complete their home, from roof to flooring. Discovering and understanding the desires of people and families is her special talent. Her fit with us includes values, beliefs and pride in doing things well.

Kerry Harley

Construction Superintendent

Since age 12, Kerry has been a builder, beginning with his dad, and he is a third-generation carpenter. Having done every job on the site at one time or another brought respect and understanding that shows up in the quality of the work. Getting along with the neighbors, while custom home building is in progress, is a priority and a skill that Kerry has cultivated.
